Summary 
The Easterseals’ Southwest Florida Front Desk Administrator will provide exceptional customer service to families, clients, staff, and visitors and ensure safe, secure, and attractive access to the facility. The administrator will answer the telephone and direct calls appropriately. The administrator will also assist with general office support such as faxing, photocopying, correspondence, and special projects, as required. 
 
 
Qualifications 
·         Education: High School Diploma or GED 
 
·         Experience: Minimum of three (3) years proven administrative and/or customer service-related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Database Management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus. 
 
 
Responsibilities 
·         Welcome clients, families, vendors, and visitors by greeting and directing them appropriately; notify company personnel of visitor arrival; answer or refer inquiries. 
·         Answer incoming calls utilizing appropriate Easterseals SWFL greetings and direct calls to appropriate personnel. 
·         Follow security and safety protocols: welcome guests (visitors, vendors, etc.), entering the building, complete the background check through the security system, issue a visitor’s badge, and once cleared, notify staff of the individual’s arrival. 
·         Support the Easterseals staff with effective calendar updates and communications, acting as a hub of information about daily events in the organization. 
·         Maintain an inviting appearance in the reception area.  It must be kept neat and organized to reduce potential safety hazards. And enhance its general appearance. 
·         Update a company-wide employee directory monthly. 
·         Develop an excellent understanding of all Easterseals SWFL programming to communicate effectively with clients, families, and visitors. 
·         Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, collating, and special projects, as needed, to support the organization. 
·         Comply with Easterseals policies and procedures utilizing the highest personal and professional ethics and behavior standards.                         
·         Demonstrate good judgment, diplomacy, courtesy, and effective communication while working at Easterseals or when representing the organization. 
·         Other duties as assigned 
 
 
Supervisory Responsibilities: 
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
